The Offshore Oil Rig

Operations on board an offshore drilling rig are challenging, demanding and require 24/7 commitment to excellence. Individuals and teams are pushed to achieve excellence in  everything they undertake. When operations fail, when a review is implemented, when we question what we have done, or not done, we often see that small things missed. Effective planning and execution of the plan failed us. Beyond the break, beyond the guilt, we gather, we review, we learn and we renew.

Surf Life Saving - Lifeguard

To the casual beachgoer the beach is a place to relax, enjoy and have fun. Yet the surf can be unpredictable and fearful to the swimmer in trouble. Going beyond the break, which may seem quite hazardous to some, allows the swimmer to see with added clarity their choices and opportunities. It's a chance to catch your breath, take stock of your situation and choose your course of action.

Behavioural Psychology

Individuals consciously and sub-consciously push themselves to breaking point often and without understanding the potential consequences of their actions on themselves and others.
