Position: People & Performance (Coach)

David has a rich and diverse background in areas of Management Development and Leadership Development relating to OHS/HR Leadership programs both in Australia and overseas. David’s particular area of interest remains high-risk workplace environments.

Since 2000 David has been conducting Safety Leadership Workshops for Oil & Gas, Mining and Power Generation sectors across Australasia, Africa, America, Canada, Middle East, North Sea and PNG. This work also included on site job follow ups, skills audits, competency position mapping, conducting safety training/meetings, accident/incident investigation, assisting with job & safety analysis, and the development of Localization Training Employment Programs at an organisational and industry wide level.

David has worked within the Oil and Gas sector globally since 1990.This has made him acutely aware of the importance of understanding the cultural and custom issues that arise when dealing with a multinational workforce, the need for structured communication/verification and the understanding of efficiency/safety awareness in the work place.

David has a Diploma of Occupational Health & Safety, Diploma of Training & Assessment, Studies in HSE/ Human Resource Training & Development, Qualified PLEXUS Auditor (APQP & FMEA ISO/TS 16949:2002).
