BTB has worked with Qatargas since 2017 on the North Field Expansion (NFE) Project. The largest LNG project operating globally today.

The NFE project, owned by Qatar Petroleum and operated by Qatargas, is the first phase of the North Field LNG Expansion Project and will increase Qatar's LNG production capacity from 77 MTPA to 110 MTPA.

BTB works with the Drilling & Completions team in the delivery of new rigs to the NFE Project and ensuring diligence and compliance to safe expectations in all offshore operations.

BTB has worked with Noble Corporation & Esso Australia through 2019 & 2020 in the Plugging & Abandonment (P&A) Campaign in the Bass Strait.

BTB works with Esso Australia in ensuring all safety & compliance expectations are met to the satisfaction of the Australian Government through NOPSEMA.

The National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) is Australia's independent regulator for health and safety, structural (well) integrity and environmental management for all offshore oil and gas operations in Commonwealth waters, and in coastal waters where regulatory powers and functions have been conferred.

BTB worked with Maersk Drilling & ExxonMobil (World Wide Ventures) during the campaign start-up of the new build Maersk Viking in the Gulf Of Mexico (GOM) through 2014.

The Maersk Viking is a modern Ultra-Deepwater Drillship rated to drill in waters up to 12,000ft. BTB delivered all requirements on time, on schedule and, while working with crews on board, developed Well Control Wednesday® as a world first in on-board well control education & professional development for all crews.

The Maersk Viking was recognised in early 2016 as first in fleet and ‘Rig of the Year’ for 2015 for Maersk.

Guyana

BTB worked with Transocean, World Wide Ventures & Esso Guyana Ltd during the campaign start-up of the Deepwater Champion in the Republic of Guyana through 2015.

The Deepwater Champion is an Ultra-Deepwater Drillship rated to drill in waters up to 40,000ft. BTB worked with crews in the significant oil discovery of the Liza-1 well on the Stabroek Block, located approximately 120 miles offshore Guyana.

The Deepwater Champion was recognised for 'Outstanding Performance' while working on the Liza-1 program by ExxonMobil Corporation.

Russia

BTB worked with Parker Drilling & ExxonNeftegas Ltd (ENL) in the Drilling campaign of the Sakhalin-1 Drilling Program located on and offshore Sakhalin Island in the Chayvo Field Project within the Russian Federation.

BTB worked with Parker Drilling and ExxonNeftegas in support of operations of the Orlan (offshore), Berkut (offshore) and Yastreb (onshore) drilling rigs. In 2015 BTB delivered a multi-lingual process safety & rig video induction for the Sakhalin-1 Drill Team.

In January 2016 the Sakhalin 1 Drill Team was recognised for 'Outstanding Performance' in operations for Extended Reach & Safety for the Orlan, Berkut & Yastreb Drilling rigs for 2015.

Papua New Guinea

BTB worked with Nabors Drilling International & ExxonMobil Development Company in the Drilling campaign of the PNGLNG Project between 2010-2015.

BTB worked with Nabors Rigs 702 & 703 that are noted as latest generation Minimum Area AC (MAAC) rigs designed and built to suit the difficult conditions in PNG. Physical challenges include a 10,000-ft altitude &10 meter average rainfall.

BTB worked in a multi-culture operating environment and the immensely challenging physical environment of the Hides district in the Southern Highlands of Papua New Guinea.

Nabors was recognised in Q4 2015 by the IADC for 'Excellence in Onshore Drilling Safety Performance'.

Vietnam

BTB worked with Diamond Offshore & ExxonMobil (World Wide Ventures) during the campaign start-up of the Diamond Ocean Apex through 2014 & 2015 in Singapore & Vietnam.

The Ocean Apex is a new Enhanced Victory Class MODU able to drill in waters up to 30,000ft. BTB delivered on time, on schedule and worked with crews in a Bi-Lingual culture and operating environment.

The Ocean Apex was recognised in late 2015 for 'HSE Excellence and Outstanding Performance' in Drilling operations by Diamond Offshore.

Angola

BTB worked with Esso Angola, Sonangol & Transocean on the start-up of the Rather & Celtic Sea in 2011 & 2012 in South Africa and Angola.

The Rather & Celtic Sea are MODU drilling rigs able to work in depths of up to 25,000ft. 

BTB worked with the operator, drilling contractor and service partners through an extended contract to 2014 to deliver sustainably safe operations and mentor local leadership to take over Coaching obligations safely & securely.

Chad

BTB was engaged by Esso Exploration & Production Chad Inc (EEPCI) to provide support for operations in Kome (Chad) specifically supporting the Toumai 1 Rig Start Up during heightened local safety & security operating environments.

BTB led all requirements including Safety Leadership Training (SLT) workshops with 200 personnel trained. BTB then led a 24- hour period supporting safe performance expectations on the Toumai 1 Rig in meeting well control requirements. 

In February 2016 BTB was recognised for excellence in start up support by Esso Chad Inc.

BTB recognises the privilege to work with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) through invitation.

We have worked with the Australian Army (Forces Command) pre and post-deployment including engagement in Iraq & Afghanistan.

Areas of engagement include: critical thinking & situational awareness, decision-making under stress and duress, and achieving operational excellence through inter-dependency. Readiness capability for subordinates and contextual enquiry in capability assessment & tasking.

Our engagement included working in secure and sensitive environments.
